Milecastle Class 6

Spring Term

Class 6 were very busy right up until the point when we had to finish. We were continuing to investigate the Ancient Greeks. We were looking at the Trojan War and were in the process of design our own versions of the Trojan Horse. Although we did not get a chance to finish the project at school, lots of the class continued it at home, creating some amazing versions.

I have to say that one of my highlights of the year was our class visit to the theatre to see a production of the novel Holes. We thoroughly enjoyed reading the novel in class but seeing live on stage really added something to it. The class were exceptionally well behaved and it was a pleasure to take them.

The novel Holes inspired us even more last term, especially on World Book Day when class 6 took on the role of the boys at Camp Green Lake and evening roped me in to play the Warden.

We have had a wonderful year so far and I hope we get the opportunity to finish it back at school. In the meantime, class 6 are keeping busy, completing tasks at home. Keep up the good work everyone!
